Stress Reduction in Every day Life
We all experience stress every day in many ways in our lives. Some of this stress makes us feel motivated and adds to our success. Some of the stress we feel makes us frazzled, irritated, and sick. In this one-day workshop, you can learn to use very practical, unique, and effective stress reduction tools that can help you to feel better every day. Perhaps those around you will benefit from that too!
Here are examples of stress reduction tools that we will learn and practice:
Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches such as:
• Progressive Muscle Relaxation
• Diaphragmatic Breathing
• Visualization
Mindfulness Meditation
• Mindful Walking
• Mindful Eating
Grounding Exercises
Assertiveness Skills (Nonviolent Communication)
Anger Management Tools
