About Me
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor, a member of the BCACC, and a Certified EMDR therapist. I completed my Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology at UVic and my BA in Cultural Anthropology at SFU. I have also been trained as a Safe Teen Assertiveness Facilitator. Currently, I am enhancing my skills by training in Gottman's Couples Counselling.
My work with people is guided by my extensive training and clinical experience as well as through the wisdom I have gained through the challenges of my own life experience.
I am able to offer better service to people I work with because I know, firsthand, what it feels like to be a client. I offer compassion, stablity, and real solutions to help promote the positive change that I know clients are often seeking.
My work is also enriched by my own practice of mindfulness meditation and yoga. I also enjoy dancing, cooking, and spending time with my treasured family and friends.
